Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

We are recruiting for a Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to lead the front of house team at Barton Hall & Vines Brasserie. You will be taking responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high standards of service in our 70 seat restaurant & private dining events, creating fantastic memories for our guests.

You will manage the department whilst reporting to and working alongside the Food & Beverage Manager to ensure customer service is delivered at all times.

Previous experience at a similar level is essential.

This is a full time position working 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including weekends. Shifts vary week to week, but will include breakfast shifts starting at 6.30am, as well as some shifts working late up to 1am. This is a hands on position working within our restaurant and bar serving food and drink, as well as serving at weddings and functions.

We are looking for someone who:
•Loves to look after people, understand what makes them happy and gets a buzz from making someone’s day.
•Is able to lead & motivate a team of 20
•Will build effective relationships with front of house and kitchen team members.
•You will also have a passion for food, drink and hospitality.
•Have excellent attention to detail, demonstrating high standards of punctuality, cleanliness and personal presentation


Looking for an experienced Housekeeper who has 5* standards and is used to working in a very small team.
The ideal candidate for this housekeeper position must have very high cleaning standards , be quick and efficient in the role and have very good communication skills and like working with the public.
The role of housekeeper requires a very welcoming and cheery personality and ability to work well as part of a team and communicate with all departments.

Up to 25 hours per week over 5 days, hours to suit business requirements

Looking for motivated, friendly staff that will be responsible for working in all areas of Food and Beverage as needed to deliver an excellent guest experience, while consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service. Working 5 days out of 7, shift patterns may vary, but would include weekends.
